US Grade Kindergarten - 1
This class is the perfect mix of academics and hands on martial arts! In this multi-day summer camp class students will read a ninja themed story as a class while discussing first and second grade literature standards such as: key ideas and themes, describe characters, setting and events, and answer questions about key details. Students will be moving and learning as they pretend they are the characters in the story! Classes will be structured so that all students are encouraged to participate, interact, and share what they know. This is a high energy class so expect your student to be out of their seats, using their voice and learning while having fun and interacting with other ninjas. Ninja suits encouraged!! Each class will incorporate a body warm up, introduction to key academic ideas for the lesson, a movement sequence, age appropriate martial arts, and a ninja themed story. Students will also be introduced to crafts that pertain to the story, and encouraged to finish them after class if they would like. If your trying to be "sneaky like a ninja" and incorporate academic and fun for your student, this is the perfect class!!
