Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten
Each class we will learn some of the different high frequency words from the Dolch Pre-Primer and Primer word lists. Students will be taught using a direct instruction approach to learn and review the words in isolation, then to read simple sentences with the words. Students will respond as a group and individually. Day 1: "little", "help" and "find" Day 2: "see", "three" and "there" Day 3: "funny", "said" and "not" Day 4: "can", "get" and "please" Then we will spend a few minutes...
Please bring a whiteboard and marker or paper and other writing utensil (pencil, crayon, marker, etc) to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
