US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one-time class, I will be reading the story The Pout-Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen. During the story, I will encourage students to interact with different parts of the story. After the story, I will open up a discussion for all students that may want to discuss any part of the story. After about 5-10 minutes of discussion, I will show each child a simple way to draw a fish. No drawing experience is necessary, and I will use common shapes such as circles and triangles for showing...
Students will work on comprehension skills as we read the story and practice our social skills as we discuss with one another about various topic during and after the story.
