In this one-time class, I will be reading the story The Night Before St. Patrick's Day. During the story, I will encourage students to interact with different parts of the story. After the story, I will open up a discussion for all students that may want to discuss any part of the story. After the story, I will show each child a simple way to draw a gnome leprechaun. No drawing experience is necessary, and I will use easy-to-follow instructions for drawing. Children will be encouraged to design and add to their drawing in any way they like. This is will be a relaxed and fun class that will allow all children to participate in the discussion if they so choose. Items Needed: A blank sheet of paper A pencil and eraser Markers, Crayons, or Colored Pencils
