US Grade Preschool - 1
In this 7 week class, we will meet once/per week for a story and drawing. The stories will include the following: The Food Group book series. I will read, while students can chat, ask questions and interact with the story. When the story is finished, we will pic our favorite scene from the book and draw a picture. Below is a schedule of the classes that we will read in order. Week 1 The Bad Seed, discussion, and drawing. Week 2 The Good Egg, discussion and drawing Week 3: The Cool Bean, discussion, and drawing Week 4. The Couch Potato, discussion, and drawing Week 5: The Smart Cookie, discussion, and drawing Week 6: The Sour Grape, discussion, and drawing Week 7 The Big Cheese, discussion and drawing. In each class, we will read one book. Students will have plenty of time to interact with the classmates as well as the teacher. We will then chat a little book at the book. Last, students will be ask to go and grab everything that they may need to draw including paper, pencil, crayons, markers, or what ever supplies that they 'd like. Please feel free to bring a snack of the food that the book is titled after for extra fun. For example, your student may bring seeds, beans potato chips, cookies, grapes or cheese for each date. The themed snack is optional......they may bring any snack and drink to class. :D

I have been teaching and tutoring for over 13 years, in the school setting and online. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Master's of Social Work. I also have TESOL and TEFL: TEYL certifications. I am currently working towards my teaching license/ certification too. I am very patient and can guide students in their educational journey, every step of the way. I love to teach because I love to empower students and encourage them to take control of their futures. Beyond math and reading, I also enjoy teaching story improv, show and tell, how to start an online reselling business, personalized homework help, storytime, ESL, full curriculum, homeschool, private tutoring and more. I love learning new things about different cultures and hope to teach students from all over the world.

Regarding refunds, please follow Outschool’s policy. Try to pause class before Sunday evening or cancel more than 24 hours before. I will be limiting refunds for missed classes with no notification and very short notice cancellations. I will refund only in some situations.
Also, feel free to request a class that is not listed or request a day/time that I don't have listed!!!!!!
