Class Experience

This is a one-time Reading/Language Arts lesson about character traits and theme. During this lesson I will be reading and discussing the book "Junkyard Wonders" by Patricia Polacco. I will use this book as a teaching tool to teach the students what character traits are and we will also be discussing what they think some character traits would be for the main characters in the book. I will also teach the students what some popular themes are in children's books. We will discuss and come up...

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
