I will read a picture book slowly and share the photos of the page as I go. The book will focus on new words, specifically eight, weight, and height.

In this one time class I will be reading aloud the picture book "Dragon School" by Dian Kristiani. This is a great story for a child to listen to, and a fun storytime class. At the end of reading the story I talk a bit about some of the new words we learned in the text, including "weight" and how the g in this word is not pronounced as we might expect. I also ask the student to think about a time they have been in a difficult situation and what they used as their solution. This class will be about 30 minutes, reading the story and discussing questions. It will be pretty hands off however I am willing to do more one on one discussions along with it and review feedback/childrens responses.
