Children greatly benefit from reading both fiction and nonfiction books. In this class, first we will talk about the characteristics of each type of book. Next, I will read two books about Sharks: Smiley Shark by Ruth Galloway and National Geographic Kids Sharks by Anne Schreiber. We will then have a discussion about which type of book each of these is. We will also have an opportunity to talk about sharks.
