The learning goals for this course will be to teach the student about RC 135 recon variants for the Stratolifter aircraft. This aircraft has several different variants that are important to our national security for nuclear treaties and for monitoring adversary activities. The focus will be on both scientific and historic roles of these aircraft and about the different information and intelligence gathering capabilities of these different platforms. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There are also two short videos showing the plane. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned home work in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
