Description

Class Experience

Rather Be Reading is a book club that meets once a week to discuss the week's reading assignments.  Learners will need to have read the week’s assigned chapters before class.  
Each week will begin with a review of the week's chapters and check the readers' comprehension of characters, plot, and other story elements.  We will extend the reading through fun, engaging activities to make text-to-text, text-to-self, and text-to-world connections.  

Mr. Lemoncello is a world-famous game maker. ...

Students will need to read the weekly assigned chapters before each class in order to participate in group discussions and activities. 
 Each week's reading will be about 20 chapters (about 60-80 pages).
Students can complete optional weekly reading questions to help them follow along and prepare for the weekly discussions.
