What Will Be Taught? In this comprehensive rap coaching class, learners will be guided through the art and craft of rap, covering key elements such as lyricism, flow, delivery, and the cultural context of hip-hop. Emphasis will be placed on fostering creativity and individual expression. Topics We Will Cover: Lyricism and Writing: Rhyme schemes, wordplay, storytelling, and metaphorical techniques. Flow and Rhythm: Developing a unique flow, mastering cadence, and enhancing breath control. Delivery and Vocal Techniques: Voice control, projection, and conveying emotions through vocal expression. Beat Selection and Production: Understanding beats, collaborating with producers, and recording techniques. Freestyling and Improvisation: Basics of freestyling, improving improvisational skills, and engaging in freestyle battles. Music Business and Marketing: Building a personal brand, networking, and utilizing social media for promotion. How Is the Class Structured? The class is structured in a dynamic and interactive format, combining instructional sessions, hands-on activities, and collaborative projects. Each session builds on the previous one, allowing learners to gradually develop their skills.
