Other Details

Parental Guidance
The Ranger in Time series explores historical events in a manner appropriate for the intended age group, but some topics may require additional context or sensitivity. Ancient Rome: One story involves Ranger witnessing the Colosseum, which includes gladiator fights and wild animal hunts. These moments are not graphic but depict the challenges of life during that time. American Slavery: Another story discusses the harsh realities of slavery as Ranger helps a young girl and her brother escape to freedom. While age-appropriate, these themes may prompt questions or discussions about history and injustice. Oregon Trail: The first story touches on the dangers of westward migration, including illness and other historical challenges, as Ranger aids a family on their journey.
