In this course, students will practice phonemic awareness, phonics, & building writing skills. I will teach Rainbow Writing every week with a different topic. Students will also play Rainbow Writing I spy game! Additional games and activites will be added throughout course. Tuesday July 20 ,2021: Common Names Tuesday July 27,2021: Numbers and colors Tuesday August 3,2021: Two/Three/ Four letters Sight words Tuesday August 10, 2021:Short Sentences! Students will learn 25-40 sight words within the 4 weeks. We will practice in class and for homework. Students should also practice words throughout the week for homework. Homework can be shared in classroom or sent directly to teache Participation is important and students should be able to write words on index card. All words are apart of K-2 snap word list. This class will help jumpstart learning beginning words, numbers,& colors, etc.

Parental Guidance
Students may need help with spelling words for homework. This course is designed for students that are familiar with letters, colors and sight words. Advanced learners ages 5-8 that are capable of writing.
