Lesson Plans for the First 4 Lessons: Week of October 30th-Lesson 1: "Exploring the Farm" Morning Meeting: Warm greetings and introduction to our farm adventure. 4 Letter Names and Sounds: Dive into the sounds of A, B, C, and D through playful activities. Themed Vocabulary (Farm Animals): Cow, pig, duck, horse. Activity (Animal Action Charades): Students act out the movements of farm animals to reinforce vocabulary and have fun! Story: Enjoy a captivating story about life on a farm, emphasizing the new vocabulary. Week of November 6th-Lesson 2: "Adventure in the Forest" Morning Meeting: Greetings and excitement for our forest exploration. 4 Letter Names and Sounds: Engage with E, F, G, and H sounds through interactive games. Themed Vocabulary (Forest Creatures): Bear, squirrel, owl, rabbit. Activity (Nature Scavenger Hunt): Students embark on a virtual 'hunt' to find pictures or descriptions of forest creatures. Story: Delight in a tale of woodland creatures coming together for a special event. Week of November 13th-Lesson 3: "Journey Under the Sea" Morning Meeting: Greetings and anticipation for our underwater adventure. 4 Letter Names and Sounds: Explore I, J, K, and L sounds through engaging activities. Themed Vocabulary (Underwater World): Dolphin, turtle, jellyfish, seashell. Activity (Ocean Animal Yoga): Students mimic the movements of sea creatures through yoga poses, reinforcing vocabulary and promoting physical activity. Story: Immerse in a magical story set beneath the waves, highlighting the new vocabulary. Week of November 20th-Lesson 4: "Up, Up, and Away in the Sky" Morning Meeting: Greetings and excitement for our high-flying adventure. 4 Letter Names and Sounds: Soar with M, N, O, and P sounds through interactive games. Themed Vocabulary (Sky Wonders): Bird, cloud, kite, airplane. Activity (Birdwatching and Storytelling): Students observe pictures of different birds and create imaginative stories about them. Story: Follow the journey of a kite in a skyward adventure, emphasizing the new vocabulary. If your little one happens to join late, no worries! Each class will include a review of what was learned in previous lessons.
