Let's celebrate the power of girls & women of the world by drawing our Rainbow Friends as strong girls. We use "triangle” shapes and the colors of the rainbows to make 3-5 friends. Celebrate diversity! Celebrate girls!

Class experience

Students will strengthen their appreciation and understanding of contributions made by women around the world and the girl power symbol "Rosie the Riveter." By drawing Rainbow Friends, students will enhance their creativity and artistic skills.
For more than 15 years, I have traveled the world and learned about the beauty of our world. I have visited more than 30 countries and lived in five different countries. In addition, I have a BA in Sociology from UCLA in Los Angeles. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Gender Studies from USC in Los Angeles. With a combination of real life experiences and cultural studies in college, I am eager to share the beauty of our diverse community through drawings of Rainbow Friends.
