In this one-time class, the students will read the story together "Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister ( used with permission). The student will understand in this story the rainbow fish is unique. The students can tell the class how they are unique. The students will notice that the rainbow fish does not like to share. The students can tell the class what they like to share with their friends or family. The students will be making their own rainbow fish art project with oil pastels and watercolour paints. The scales of the fish will be painted with rainbow colours in order or use the colours of the rainbow in any order they want. The students can add glitter to the fish or the background. At the end of the class, the students can show their rainbow fish art project to the class.

Parental Guidance
Please supervise your student when they are doing their art project by making sure you are not on the camera.

I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
