Let's make our world more colorful! In this class, learners will create artwork inspired by rainbow colors. The first class will start with introductions, and the beginning of each class thereafter will start with a review of what was covered in the week before. Each lesson will be taught in a directed drawing style to aid those who are not confident in their skills yet. Students will continue to develop skills in artistic expression and artistic decision making. Students will be introduced to drawing, painting, collage techniques. Students will will learn the order of the rainbow and different types of lines. Students will know art vocabulary terms multimedia, crayon resist, and color wheel. Learners will be exposed to the artwork of Alma Thomas
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
