Is your child learning to write their name? Want a fun technique to help them with it? If your answer is yes, then this class is for you. In this class students will learn a fun technique called rainbow writing. Using a template of their name (which will be provided to you to print) students will use crayons or markers to make the formation of each letter. With the process we will be using lots of colors which will make the final project look like a rainbow. Doing this activity does so many things: 1) Works on fine motor skills. 2) Helps with the identification of letters in a child’s name. 3) Helps students develop the correct formation of the letters. 4) Let’s children have fun while learning, which is always my number one goal while teaching. Along with learning this technique we will integrate some science into the lesson by talking about what a rainbow is, how it is formed, and the colors of the rainbow; which will be the colors we use for our writing. Join us as we learn how to write our names in a fun way; a technique that can be used again and again in your child’s educational journey.
Learning Goals
Students will learn letter formations of the letters in their first name and will work on their fine motor skills as they practice writing the letters.

Teacher expertise and credentials
