Students will learn tips and tricks for Mario Kart. Students will learn good sportsmanship, and how to be both a gracious winner and loser. Students will develop social and conversational skills.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is rated "E" for everyone. Players shoot shells, bombs, stars, etc. at each other, but it is cartoonish in nature, and does not kill a player. They simply have to start again from the spot where they were hit. As this is an online game, students will be able to see each other's names in the classroom, and have the ability to "send friend request" through Nintendo. Students will be reminded not to share their personal information, including gamer tags and usernames in class or in the classroom, but it is possible to access usernames through Nintendo after students have raced together in my private group. Gamer tags will only be shared through private messages to me as needed to join our games.
