Race Car Fun : How to Draw a Race Car
In this one time class we will talk about race cars. We will use the topic of race cars to focus on kindergarten/first grade readiness such as sorting, matching, grouping, one-to-one correspondence, classifying, shapes, and recognizing numbers.

In this one time course we will cover concepts such as speed and counting . Students are encouraged to bring a picture or toy race car to class with them. This is a great class for student who love cars and enjoy expressing themselves through art. We will use race cars to help review colors, counting, shapes and numbers. We will also work on patterns and size sorting. Students will participate in class discussion as we complete a handout about race cars. We will have a great time drawing a race car and sharing our drawing with the class. Class will begin with a brief time of introductions and instructions for the class. It is a wonderful time for students to learn new vocabulary , practice questioning, discovery, team work and build self confidence. Hello friends! My name is Judy Muncher and I live in Alabama, USA! I am a mother of 3 adult boys and a grandmother to a wonderful 2 year old. We love adventure, travel and all types of animals! I received my BS and MS Degree in Education. I taught science for 15 years in the public school setting. I continued my education receiving an additional MS in Library Science. I changed careers and became a Media Specialist in both the Elementary and High School setting! I am a lifelong educator of 30 years! I have developed a wonderful passion for educating children. My teaching philosophy is based on learning through play and discovery. Discovery allows children to improve cognitive development in memory, concentration, attention, perception, imagination and creativity. I have recently joined the virtual teaching community. I have taught English online for the last year. I LOVE virtual teaching!! Virtual teaching allows me to connect with all types of students in a variety of locations! My classes revolve around discussion and collaboration. Students enjoy talking about their ideas and sharing with others! My goal as a teacher is to help students develop a LOVE of learning.
