Description
Class Experience
An old bottle washes ashore, containing a map with a mysterious riddle. And with that, a seven continent race begins! In this one time class, learners will encounter a variety of fun and educational challenges, such as riddles, word puzzles, and ciphers, as well as questions based on information shared in class. This class is taught in English.
Students will sharpen their critical thinking, listening, and observational skills, and practice their social skills as they learn more about geography and important map skills.
I have a degree in secondary social studies education, and 14 years of classroom teaching experience, both in public schools and homeschool enrichment classes.
Learners will need paper and pencil to work through our challenges.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
