Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
What breed of rabbit has ears that can measure 21 inches from tip to tip? Which rabbit sports a chain of spots on each side? Have you met a Teddywidder? Join me as we explore rare and unusual breeds of rabbits from the large to the small. This one time class will highlight uncommon breeds, including some that have been in existence since the early 1800's, and some that are being developed in the present day. This class does not teach basic rabbit care. The class follows a lecture and discussion format, using slides and pictures. Participation is encouraged, but understandably not required. The instructor has raised and shown rabbits competitively for 30 years. She raises several rare and heritage breeds such as Rhinelander, Silver Fox, and Brittania Petite.
