We're going to have wonderful finished quilts.Class Experience
Ready to learn a new skill? Begin your quilting journey with this fun penguin quilt. You'll just love it! Students must be comfortable using a sewing machine, iron and sharp scissors prior to enrolling in this class. If you need to learn to use your sewing machine first try one of our private lessons or message me for other options prior to enrolling here. During this class we will make a infant or lap sized pieced quilt. Class 1: Organizing our materials - students will need a large space to lay out their quilt pieces and design their quilt. Class 2: Beginning sewing - We'll start sewing our rows together this day. Students will need to finish sewing their rows before class 3. Class 3: Sewing part two - We'll be learning about sewing the columns together this day. Make sure you have your top complete before day 4. Class 4: Adding a backing - This day you'll need your big space again to lay your quilt and backing out and learn the process for getting them sewn together. Class 5: Tying the quilt - in this class we will learn how to tie our quilts so they last forever.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young Univeristy - Idaho
Hello! I'm Aubrey and I am mom to 9 crazy children ages one through fourteen. We live on a homestead in Idaho where we raise rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail, goats, and sheep.
I have a degree in Math Education and one in Family History but I love to teach a number of subjects. I absolutely love meeting new students! My favorite thing about teaching is helping my students to learn to use the tools that I am giving them in their daily life. Join my classes to learn about math, English, history and many more homestead themed topics to help you complete daily tasks and possibly find a new hobby in the process.
I'm excited to meet you!
