Description

Class Experience

Students will learn how to quill at least three basic shapes: tight circle, loose circle, and teardrop. These are foundational shapes for all other quilling. Students will learn how to create their own quilled mandala.
There is no homework for this class. However, students are encouraged to continue growing their mandala into a larger piece if they desire to do so.
Learners will need: - A slotted quilling tool (roughly $1-$5 on Amazon) - At least 10 strips of quilling paper of 1/8" wide (roughly $2 on quilling.com; any color/s are fine) - Small amount of a liquid glue, such as Elmer's - Tooth pick for applying glue - 12 inch ruler (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
