Description

Class Experience

Students will gain a better historical understanding of LGBTQ culture as represented in the Walt Disney Company. I hope to inspire them to appreciate queer history and how it has been a part of many aspects of our lives since childhood. 
As a film lover and a member of the LGBTQ community, I have learned and studied many topics in both areas in my education and on my own time. I am an educator who has worked with children of multiple ages and am passionate about Disney's history and LGBT issues of representation in media. 
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
