Class Experience
This camp will help you learn about Queen Elizabeth II of England, her Platinum Jubilee, have fun making a craft, learn about tea, and more! A camp where on Day 1: We will make a craft to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee of 2022 Day 2: Come up with a menu and talk about tea. Bring your teacup to have a fun time and celebration. Day 3: We will learn about the Queen of England, her life, and why the Platinum Jubilee is so important. This camp will help students learn about Queen Elizabeth II of England, her Platinum Jubilee, have fun making a craft, learn about tea, and more so that they are feeling a part of this major moment in British history that is happening in 2022.
I am from England and love British History. I will bring the joys of British tea parties to your home virtually, have you learning about history, and wanting to travel there soon. I have taught many classes about British history, British accents, tea time, and more!
They will need toilet paper rolls, felt, glue, possibly tape, markers and scissors, paper, and of course, bring a cup to enjoy our tea party. You can purchase just the felt and toilet paper rolls from here if desired: https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/ideas/platinum-jubilee-craft-ideas.html
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will use scissors during Day 1 for the craft.
