Through the Montessori approach, students will develop their independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. They will also learn about practical life skills, cultural studies, and how to work with different materials to engage in hands-on learning experiences. The virtual classroom will also place a strong emphasis on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) education, allowing students to explore and create in these fields through hands-on projects and activities. This will help them develop skills such as creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Through our focus on SEL (social and emotional learning), students will learn how to manage their emotions, build empathy, and develop healthy relationships with others. This will include activities and discussions that promote self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, and social awareness. In terms of literacy, students will receive a well-rounded education through a variety of reading, writing, and language activities. They will also have opportunities to develop their communication skills through presentations, debates, and other interactive projects. Finally, our entrepreneurship focus will teach students about financial literacy, problem-solving, marketing, and product development. They will have the chance to turn their ideas into a business venture and develop important skills that will prepare them for the future. Overall, the 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders enrolled in our virtual Montessori classroom will gain a strong foundation in academic, social, emotional, and practical skills that will set them up for success in their future educational and personal endeavors.
