Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
Intermediate Level
🤓 Any required experience or knowledge learners need?
This class requires prior experience with Python programming! If your child has not taken our Python Levels 1 and 2, please do not enroll in this class. Even if they have experience with other Python courses, they still need to be familiar with our platform and basic coding concepts covered in the earlier levels. In Levels 1 and 2, students learn how to navigate our Codesters learning platform, which is essential for success in this class.

🤓 What will be taught?
In this course, students will continue learning Python programming using the Codesters platform. They will work on coding projects that build upon the skills learned in earlier levels.

🤖 What topics will you cover?
Students will progress through the lessons in Codesters, corresponding to their current level (3 through 8). Topics include more advanced programming concepts such as loops, functions, conditionals, lists, and creating interactive projects. The exact lessons will vary based on each student's progress.

💻 How is your class structured?
Each class will begin with a fun and engaging Kahoot game to warm up and get everyone excited! Afterward, students will have the chance to showcase their own projects, demonstrating what they’ve learned so far. Next, the instructor will introduce the lesson of the day and provide step-by-step guidance. The class will conclude with dedicated time for students to work on their coding exercises, with help from the teacher as needed.

👨‍🚀 How will you teach?
Instruction will be clear and explicit, with step-by-step explanations to ensure all students understand each concept. We will walk through coding challenges together, allowing students to ask questions and follow along at their own pace.
