Description
Class Experience
Are your children interested to learn coding with Python? Advanced Python requires students to have basic knowledge of Python. In this course, students will learn the basics of the Python programming language by using fun and interesting examples. I will teach them the basic syntax of Python. After the class, they can create and run their own simple programs or games. The topics will include: Lesson 1, Week of Oct 12th: Introduction of Python: HelloWorld, Variable, Input, and Output....
Students will learn the basics of Python and they will feel confident to use Python to solve math questions, or creating games by themself.
Every week, students are requested to do simple homework and send it to me. I will give them comments if they have done. It takes about 1 hour to finish. It is no pressure at all since the homework just helping them to consolidate what they have learned in the class. They will enjoy doing that. :)
A one-page handout and assignment will be provided after each class. Learners need to create an account from https://replit.com/repls before starting the class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
We will have a note and assignment every week to check if students understand what they have learned.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The learning materials are based on the standard library of Python and the note is created by myself.
