Beginner Level
In each lesson, we will cover a specific Python concept and provide students the opportunity to apply their knowledge by creating a game or animation. Final Projects: At the end of each lesson, students will showcase their learning by creating a game or animation, reinforcing what they’ve learned in each lesson. ✅ Course Highlights: 1. Learn Python syntax, structure, and procedures. 2. Build a project after each lesson to practice new skills. 3. All lessons are designed to be engaging, hands-on, and fun! 🌟 For students with prior experience: If you've learned Python before, please note that this course uses the Codesters platform, which might be different from other Python classes you’ve taken. The platform is integrated with interactive lessons and tools to support student learning, making this an exciting and dynamic experience. Ongoing Class Format Week of November 25: Data Types and Variables Week of December 2: Conditionals and Loops Week of December 9: Random Module Week of December 16: Debugging 🏆 Certificate & Exam Prep: Students who successfully complete all lessons and projects with a satisfactory score will receive a certificate of completion (available upon request). The course also prepares students for the Knowledge Pillars - Python Coding Apprentice (PCA) exam. More information on the PCA exam can be provided after course completion. 💻 Class Structure: Each week, the teacher will provide direct instruction for 10 minutes, students will complete practice activities in class and build a project in the Codesters platform. The license for Codesters is included in the class fee. 😃 Learner Interaction: Students will interact by viewing and providing feedback on each other’s projects in the Outschool classroom, sharing ideas and collaborating live as they feel comfortable.

Platform: Classes are conducted in Codesters, an easy-to-use online platform where students will complete lessons, code, and build projects. An account will be created by the teacher, upon enrollment. The license for Codesters is included in the class fee. NO email or personal information are required for creating a Codesters account.
Pre-Requisites
No prior coding experience required for students aged 10 and older.
For students under 10, prior experience with Scratch (or a similar visual programming tool) is highly recommended.
