Puzzle Palooza - Let's Solve Jigsaw Puzzles and Make Friends!

Puzzle Palooza is a collaborative, interactive class where learners work together each week to complete a themed 250-500 piece digital jigsaw puzzle using Jigsaw Explorer. Along the way, they’ll develop problem-solving skills and teamwork!

Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner Level
In Puzzle Palooza, learners will collaborate to complete a digital jigsaw puzzle each week using Jigsaw Explorer. This class is designed to encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning in a fun and engaging way. Each session will feature a different puzzle theme, which will be listed at the bottom of the class description.

Learners will develop essential cognitive and social skills, including:

Visual and Spatial Reasoning – Enhancing pattern recognition and problem-solving abilities.
Collaboration and Teamwork – Learning to communicate, strategize, and work together efficiently.
Perseverance and Focus – Strengthening attention to detail and resilience when facing challenging sections.
Theme-Based Discussions – Exploring the topic of the week through guided conversation related to the puzzle’s subject.

Pop Culture (Pokemon, Anime, etc.)
The themes are designed to spark curiosity and conversation while engaging in the puzzle-solving process.

CLASS STRUCTURE
Introduction & Icebreaker (5 minutes) – We’ll introduce the theme, discuss the puzzle image, and share fun facts.
Collaborative Puzzle Time (45 minutes) – Learners will work together in Jigsaw Explorer to complete the puzzle, using teamwork and communication.
Wrap-Up & Discussion (5 minutes) – We’ll reflect on the puzzle experience, discuss strategies used, share thoughts about the theme, and suggest themes for next time.

Discussion & Engagement – Learners will have opportunities to share their thoughts, ask questions, and discuss the puzzle’s theme.
Team-Based Interaction – Most of the class will involve learners working together in real time, strengthening social and collaborative skills.

This class is perfect for puzzle enthusiasts, teamwork lovers, and anyone who enjoys a fun challenge in a relaxed, friendly environment. Each week is a new adventure—come join the Puzzle Palooza fun!
