This fun and social drawing club meets weekly to draw based on a new and fun prompt. A prompt could be something like "draw your favorite book character dressed up in a costume." Students have a choice of drawing their artwork on paper or using the app ProCreate and their iPad. During the start of class, we will bounce ideas around to help students get inspired. Learners can also get help using ProCreate during class with the execution of their idea. To help students who need some guidance to get started, the teacher will draw a basic idea that students can follow along with. At the end of class, learners will have an opportunity to share their idea and artwork. Oct 1st: Setting up the canvas Oct 7th: Setting up your layers Oct 14th: Adjusting brushes Oct 21st: Creating shapes This class is suitable for learners at all skill levels. All are welcome! ⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION This course requires the app ProCreate which can be purchased for $10-13 from the Apple Store. Sadly, Procreate is not available for Andriod tablets. Please make sure your learner has ProCreate downloaded before the start of class. This third-party app requires an apple account to download.

I primarily teach digital art classes using the app ProCreate.
I am committed to making every learner feel welcome in my class and strive to adjust my teaching style based on the needs of my learners. It's important to me that students completing my classes are happy with the experience they've had. I offer classes that challenge students to create something they are excited to share with their friends and family. In each class, I strive to foster conversation and create opportunities for social interaction... but also respect students who are more introverted in nature and prefer not to be pressured to share.
