We are going on a 4 Day "cruise" with the Pirate Pups and Captain Colleen! Each day we will practice letter sounds, writing letters- whether it's a Paw Patrol character name or sight words, and then have a fun activity such as a craft or treasure hunt. One day we might even have time to go swimming in the ocean virtually and see a shipwreck! Throughout the week they will also learn rhyming words, learn shapes, sing with the Pirate Pups. Students will learn how to write letters, spell some Paw Patrol names, a few sight words, arts & crafts, & shapes.
2 files available upon enrollmentSupplies Needed: EVERYDAY: pencil, and several sheets of white drawing paper (you can also have writing paper if you prefer for the writing letters part.) Day 1- Draw a Pirate Pup White Paper colors (or markers) Day 2- DRAW a Pirate Ship 3 pieces of white paper for writing and drawing, colors or markers Day 3- Pirate Hat Craft 1 long page of a newspaper for pirate hat (Parent should be present to assist with) scissors clear scotch tape Day 4- Pirate Ship CRAFT- (Parent must be present to assist with cutting of sponges and cups) 2 sponges scissors 4 small styrofoam cups 8 toothpicks Clear scotch tape
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
2 Handouts to be printed for your convenience (found in the classroom) (1 is a list of supplies for camp, 1 is the instructions for Pirate Hat)
