In this ongoing weekly session, learners will teach their dog a new command, ask questions about dog training, problem solve dog behaviors, learn a new trick or get help with puppy potty training.

Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their skill in training their own dogs to listen and obey commands. They will improve in problem solving various behavior issues in their dogs. Additional goals are to have fun and learn how to have positive experiences with their dogs or puppies. The learner will strengthen the bond of communication and interaction between human and dog.
Teacher is ISCDT Certified, an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator and tester observer with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
Students practice the commands they learned in class. 10 to 15 minutes per day.
A dog or puppy, leash, delicious treats or little pieces of meat or cheese. Optional: Clicker.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal observation. Learners will be given instruction to improve their dog training techniques.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Dogs are unpredictable and may not always learn at the same pace. Puppies should be older than 3 months.
