Puppet Party: Make a Puppet Come to Life and Meet Puppet Friends!
What's included

This class is perfect for children who love puppets, or who struggle to talk to others. Puppets can be a wonderful vehicle for self-expression, and they're a lot of fun! Students should bring one puppet to class -- but the puppet can be any household object or even a sock! We'll learn how to move our puppets and give them a character voice during the first part of class. Once everyone has a character for their puppet, the puppets will get to talk to each other. I'll ask the group conversation starters, and students can answer the questions as their puppets. This is a perfect class for honing social skills, theatrical skills, and confidence. I am a fun, kind teacher who is great at putting students at ease!

Supply List
Students will need to bring one puppet to class -- but they could bring any object that's easily held in their hands and turn it into a puppet, such as a book or a mug. If a child doesn't already own a puppet, I would encourage them to create one before class! Any object will do, but it will be more fun if it's decorated, given eyes, etc. Sock puppets are always a great start!
