Chase is missing! Feel free to bring a Paw Patrol friend to join you as Marshal gives your students phonics, color, shape, and number clues to help them find Chase. There will be music and fun in this very interactive class! Students will learn colors, shapes, and numbers (adding and subtracting) as they listen to the Marshal’s clues that have them identify the correct answers. When one of the students answers the clue correctly, everyone gets to move on to the next clue. We will talk about each of the colors (red, green, yellow, blue, orange, brown, black, and white), shapes (square, rectangle, circle, triangle), and identify numbers and use them to solve basic addition and subtraction problems. The students will use their reasoning skills to solve the clues together and find Chase! The students will be given time to ask questions. The clues will provide visuals to show the students where they can see different colors, shapes, and numbers in every day life. This will be a fun environment of learning together!
Learning Goals
Students will learn each of the colors (red, green, yellow, blue, orange, brown, black, and white), shapes (square, rectangle, circle, triangle), and identify numbers and use them to solve basic addition and subtraction problems.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
I love having fun and bringing creativity to the classroom! I teach art, crafts, cooking, academic classes including language arts, math, reading, and I am always adding more creative classes to my classroom! I love to make the classes fun and exciting for the students and keep them engaged in the lesson so that they can learn while having fun. I keep younger students engaged by using props, music, and interaction to keep their interest. I love working with older students as well and relating to them.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art with a minor in graphic design from San Jose State University. After working as a graphic designer, I have had the opportunity to work with students in grades kindergarten through high school through substitute teaching, teaching English to students in China, and homeschooling my own children for 10 years.
When something is fun or enjoyable, we are more likely to learn from it and stick with it. That is why I try to incorporate fun and creativity into each lesson. I strive to engage the students, so that they want to keep coming back and learning.
My husband and I have 4 children, a dog named Scout, and two sweet guinea pigs. I enjoy going to Disneyland with my family, hanging out together by the pool, and dancing in the kitchen :)
I hope you child will join me in the classroom. Together we will make learning fun!
