Let's dive into silly sentences while learning about punctuation and grammatical rules without the "lecture" or textbook. This is the perfect introduction to the basic rules, homonym distinctions and little punctuation pieces that we take for granted. We will discuss the basics of punctuation and conveying meaning in a sentence. This class will use a variety of tools to engage students in interactive lessons that will include photos, videos, matching activities, and even interactive games!...
Students will learn basics of punctuation and grammatical rules. Students will practice using what they learn about punctuation and grammatical rules through silly sentences. Students will explain what they know verbally about punctuation and grammatical rules.
I am a successful virtual teacher with proven methods for success in and out of the classroom. I am a certified teacher with 15+ years of teaching in the public, private, homeschool, university model, online, or private tutoring sector. I've been a first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade and middle school teacher. I have a BA in Business Communications, a writing minor, and a teacher's certification. I am also a dedicated mental health workshop facilitator for an organization that provides resiliency skills to kids through engaging activities, games, role-playing, crafts, and socratic group discussions.
