Beginner - Advanced Level
I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example and show and name the supplies needed to create the work. I will give a step-by-step demonstration of the sketch and students will create their work with me. We will practice some color pencil techniques to produce shading with layers of colors to create a semi-realistic pumpkin with leaves. Drawing and colored pencil techniques.
Pencil and eraser. Set of color pencils including yellow, orange, red, green, brown, dark brown. White drawing paper. Better quality drawing paper will produce a better experience for learners.
Halloween masks are welcome, however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies. Please note that costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc.). Thank you!
