In this one-time class, students will have fun creating their own puffy paint! The students will color and paint a picture of an ice cream cone. The students will learn about the famous artist Wayne Thiebaud and his sweet paintings.

Class Experience
* The students will learn about the artist Wayne Thiebaud. *The students will learn how to create puffy paint. *The students will learn how to create a drawing of an ice cream cone. *The students will engage in listening skills. *The students will engage in socialization skills.
*Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education *NJ State Certified K-6 Elementary Teacher *NJ State Certified K-12 Fine Arts Teacher *17 years teaching in a public elementary school *40+ years teaching and working with children *Mother of two daughters (8 & 10)
1 file available upon enrollment*9”x12” white tagboard, poster board, or watercolor paper (Heavyweight is best) *1 pencil *1 eraser *1 black sharpie permanent marker *3 SMALL plastic condiment containers * 3 wood craft sticks (stir & apply puffy paint) *1 bottle of white school glue *1 bottle of shaving cream *Food Coloring (3 colors) *Sprinkles *Crayons
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
