Description

Class Experience

In this 5 week course, we will talk about the important aspects of the Puerto Rican culture such as heritage, foods, music, and folklore.
Each week, we will spend 30 minutes learning about the following topics:
Week 1. Where is Puerto Rico? 
     a. Geography
     b. Topography
     c. Climate
     d. Wildlife
Week 2. Our Heritage & Folklore
     a. History of the People
     b. Traditions
     c. Myths and Legends
Week 3. Our Foods 
     a. Typical Foods
     b. Popular Recipes
     c. Food...

Students will have a wholesome understanding of Puerto Rican culture.

I am the author of the book listed and am a native-born Puerto Rican. Our culture has always been deeply engrained into everything I do, even though we moved to the United States when I was younger. We aim to keep our culture alive, even in the mainland, and so I am here to share it with you.

There may be printables sent through the course which may be presented in class, but will not be graded.
