Class Experience
This is an ongoing class. We will meet weekly to practice our public speaking skills. The topics will change weekly and prior participation is not necessary. Learn the skills needed to give an effective performance in a classroom setting, or as needed when applying for a job! Increase your confidence with your increased skills. Students will improve their public speaking abilities.
I have taught Public Speaking to my Online ESL students. Maintaining eye contact, keeping your voice steady, and being prepared are essential skills. I can help your child develop or fine tune these skills in this course.
Students are asked to prepare a 2-3 minute speech to present in class. This does not have to be memorized, but can be.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessments will be offered every class.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
