Get $5 off your first class! Use code: GREENFRST5 In this course, we discuss the pros, cons, and how-to of making an impromptu speech. We discuss how it is different from normal speech styles, and how you can successfully make a compelling speech out of thin air! In this 45 minute course, we will cover the basics of tapping into your main ideas, gaining the confidence to speak in front of an audience, and the basics of what makes a speech compelling. This course includes a heavy emphasis on thinking outside the box to create a compelling, interesting speech. Students should leave with beginner level knowledge for the following: -What makes a good impromptu speech -How to select and enhance key speaking points -How to manage the fear of public speaking Each class will start with a quick recap of the process and a warm-up exercise. Then, the learners will be given a prompt (that will not be posted in advance) and will be given 5 minutes to write a compelling speech. Then, each learner will have a turn to share their speech and get feedback from the teacher and the class.
