Class Experience
This group will focus on public speaking - Toastmaster style. I have been an active participant in my local Toastmaster club for 3 years. For me, the hardest part of public speaking is overcoming an impromptu speech or discussion. With my work in Toastmasters, I now have been able to successfully communicate and present to the CIO, CEO, and VPs of a Fortune 5 company. What are the benefits of Impromptu Speaking? Learners will become proficient in impromptu discussions and presentations. They will learn that it is okay to take a second to compose their thoughts before responding. They will learn to be conscious of how they answer questions with well-thought-out points.
