Beginner Level
In this highly interactive summer camp, learners will build public speaking and basic debate skills in a neurodiverse-friendly, low-pressure environment. Each class begins with a warm welcome and fun speaking games that ease anxiety and encourage self-expression. We’ll teach key concepts through storytelling, role-play, and real-world topics kids care about. Our teaching approach is visual, structured, and supportive—perfect for shy or neurodivergent learners who need clear expectations and positive reinforcement. Classes are kept small to ensure each student has time to speak and receive encouragement. We use: - Visual slides and graphic organizers - Drama games and guided improvisation - Real-time peer interactions (in pairs and small groups) - Scaffolding and optional sentence starters for reluctant speakers Learners will have the opportunity to participate in: - Mini debates - Personal storytelling - Confidence-building exercises - A final showcase We prioritize student comfort and autonomy—kids can pass, type instead of speak, or participate in the way that feels best to them.
