Public Speaking is a skill that is very important for everyone to be able to do successfully in their every day lives. Yet, it is something that is very scary for many learners, I want to teach it through games and activities to help them build their confidence and their skills at the same time! This is a beginner's public speaking class, and there is no prior knowledge required, just an eagerness to learn! Students will become more confident in themselves and their abilities to speak in front of an audience.
Homework Offered
Homework is minimal for this class, occasionally I may ask your student to watch a speech or short video, maybe complete a worksheet outside of class, or read something given in class. The only required homework for all sessions of this course is a short 5-7 minute speech your child will prepare for our final class meetings. I try not to make cut and dry homework rules, as learning is different for every class and I will tailor it to the needs in each class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
