In this multi-day class, students will meet twice a week to practice their public speaking skills. Learners will gain confidence and skills to improve their public speaking.
Class Experience
In this multi-day public speaking camp, students will learn public speaking skills with opportunities to practice to others during class. This class meets twice a week. Each day covers a different skill, from communication to body language. We will practice an activity in each class to reinforce what we have learned. ESL and EFL students will gain confidence and learn the skills and techniques of public speaking.
I am a certified TESOL instructor and have experience teaching public speaking courses.
I recommend practicing the skills that we learn in class with family and friends for 30 minutes each week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The 6th class will be a prepared speech, and each learner will be given an informal grade. This will include strengths and weaknesses so that the learner can practice improving their skills even after the camp has finished.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
