Class experience
When I was little, I was shy. Today, I am an award winning public speaker. As a teenager, I spoke in front of city hall to advocate for a community garden. In high school, I won multiple medals in the speech division of Academic Decathlon. As an adult, I won first place in the Speech and Debate Championships at my University in Impromptu Speaking. I love speaking to people about the subjects I am passionate about and the subjects I'm not so passionate about because I had great teachers...
Students will learn how to give a speech with confidence, clarity, and poise.
Students should come to class with paper and a writing utensil. Note cards are preferable but not required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
