This is a one-time private class about pterosaur launch and other general paleontology questions. It will be more conversational than a typical class, with plenty of time for Q&A and discussion at the end of a short presentation.
Class experience
I will give a short presentation on the latest research about pterosaurs and how they were able to launch. This includes information on pterosaurs in general, how they are similar and different from birds, and our ideas on how they were able to take off. I'll describe a new modeling method using information from skeletons and muscles to see if they were able to take off in a certain way. Then we'll have plenty of time to talk about paleontology in general and answer any questions you have...
