Class Experience

By the end of the course, students will be able to define psychopathology and related terms. They will also learn select common DSM disorders including their symptoms and current treatments. Students will be able to distinguish between normal and abnormal behaviors. 
I am a Certified School Psychologist. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Psychology, and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology. I have taken numerous undergraduate and graduate-level psychopathology classes and am trained in identifying these disorders.   
Students will receive optional independent learning activities at the conclusion of the class. 
Students should come to class prepared with a pencil or pen in order to take notes (basic school supplies)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
