This class will discuss the experience of "stuck in your head" tunes and use psychology to understand where they come from and how to stop them.

Class Experience

US Grade 11
  • Students will understand what musical features and situations tend to produce earworms. Students will have an introductory understanding of working memory and the "Zeigarnik effect" and be able to use these theories to explain earworms.
